Almighty and ever-living God, creator of all things, ruler of all things, I ask you to hear my prayer for the Parish of St. Simon’s.

As we seek to grow in numbers, bless us with new members, and the will to both welcome and accept them.

As we seek to grow in the Spirit, bless all our members with the gifts of faith and prayer, and the desire to grow ever closer to you by setting ourselves aside to worship, study and service.

As we seek to grow as people, help us to accept and value our differences; teach us to celebrate our diversity and to value it as a wonderful gift in an ever-changing world.

As we seek our future, unite us in purpose, constantly reminding us that the Church has one head, one identity: Jesus, your son. Give us the vision to seek and serve Christ in all people, the wisdom to plan for our future, and the courage to see it through.

Strengthen the faithful, arouse the careless, and restore the penitent.

Grant us all things necessary for our common life, and bring us all to be of one heart and mind within your holy Church.

Grant this, my prayer, through Jesus Christ, my Lord.
