RALLY DAY

It’s that time of year: a new opportunity to find your ministry. What does God want you to do this fall?

When I start to write my letter I wonder what I will write.  Sometimes it is easy and others it is very difficult.  When I wrote our last letter, we had been running the same way for the lsix weeks.  It seemed like there was so little to tell. This time, the ink had not even dried when the fun began!  And, once again, I have  learned new lessons.

 

We found ourselves back up in Maine at the end of June, so we planned to go back to Recompence Shores and go sailing again with Sail Freeport.  But then Troy called to say he would have to cancel.  His boat blew the head gasket.  It's a sailboat — why do you need an engine?  Well, you have to have that to get in and out of the harbor.   more ...

Rector’s Sabbatical

Fr. Dan will be on Sabbatical from September 7-December 6. This will be a time for him to study, pray and rest; he also hopes to visit family.  The Rev. Penny Nash will be our supply priest during this time.  She will be with us on Sundays and Tuesdays.
